ANALYSIS EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY STUDI PROGRAM S – 1 FACULTY OF ENGINEERING YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY

Abstract


This study aimed to measure the efficiency, productivity and results of the performance in Bachelor Degree
Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University. This research is catagoried as quantitative
descriptive research.The Bachelor Degree Programs that have been examined are Education and Planning Civil
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Education, automotive Engineering Education, Electrical Engineering
Education, Electronic Engineering Education, Mechatronics Engineering Education and Informatic Engineering
Education. The data used in this research is BAN – PT data Accreditation. Input variables used are the number of
students, number of tenured lecturers, the budget amount of courses and the number of Doctoral lecturers. While,
the output variable used are the number of graduates, number of research studies, the number of society service,
and the number of articles / journals created. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method is applied to
calculate the performance assesment system. Software used in this study is the Efficiency Measuring System (EMS)
to calculate the value of efficiency and DEAP 2.1 to calculate the value of productivity. The results reveal the study
programs that have efficiency scores upper 100% is automotive Engineering Education, Education and Planning
Civil Engineering and Electronic Engineering Education. The Study Program that have the highest productivity is
PT. Electronics with TFP value of 1,195. The performance study program generally changes in 2 year. At year
2013/2014 to 2014/2015 three study program can maintain the performance of educational system.
