Abstract

Manufacture of automatic tablet medicine counter on home industry pharmacy aims to realize the design of hardware and software, and know the performance of the tool. The function of this tool is to calculate the drug tablet automatically according to the number of user requests. Some stages in the manufacture of automatic tablet drug counterparts in the home industry pharmacy consists of needs identification, needs analysis, block diagram, system design and software, tool making, testing by taking data. Materials used include iron as a skeleton, aluminum as a skeleton cover, acrylic as a circle axis and cardboard as a circular axis. The framework requires supporting components to move as expected such as LDR as a drug detector, LASER as a light transmitter to the LDR, keypad to input the amount of drug, Servo motor as opening of drug lid, DC motor to move the drug shaft, and LCD as display viewer. The above components can not work continuously without a controller, therefore the tool works by utilizing ATmega 328p as the controller using Arduino IDE software to program it. Based on the results of sensor testing and performance that has been done 3 times, the tablets tablet counter can work as expected. Quantitatively it is known that the average error on the LDR sensor data voltage when doing a low active drug reading of 5.1% and when the active condition is high at 0.81%. While overall, when all the components worked an average drug count error of 2.05%, and to count one drug took an average time of 0.98 seconds.
