THE DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING ON INTRODUCTION AND MEASUREMENT OF ELECTRICITY SUBJECT

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: (1) menghasilkan model e-learning yang tepat untuk mata pelajaran dasar dan pengukuran listrik; (2) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-learning; (3) mengetahui persepsi pengguna terhadap e-learning. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE menurut Branch yaitu analyze (analisis), design (desain), develop (pengembangan), implement (implementasi), dan evaluate (evaluasi). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) model e-learning mata pelajaran dasar dan pengukuran listrik yang tepat meliputi tiga unsur yaitu tata letak konten yang proporsional, tampilan sederhana dengan komposisi warna yang sesuai, dan fitur-fitur penunjang pembelajaran yaitu akses materi pelajaran, diskusi, tugas, dan kuis; (2) kelayakan e-learning dari ahli media diperoleh rerata dengan jumlah skor 79,50 dari 100 atau 79,50% sehingga masuk dalam kategori ”Layak”, sedangkan kelayakan materi oleh ahli materi diperoleh rerata dengan jumlah skor 61,50 dari 84,00 atau 73,21% dalam kategori ”Layak”; (3) persepsi pengguna yaitu guru terhadap e-learning diperoleh jumlah skor 81,00 dari 96,00 atau 84,38% sehingga masuk dalam kategori ”Sangat Baik”, sedangkan persepsi siswa diperoleh rerata dengan jumlah skor 65,00 dari 80,00 atau 81,25% sehingga masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

            The purposes of this study were to: (1) create an appropriate e-learning model for subject of introduction and measurement of electricity; (2) discover the feasibility level of e-learning, (3) discover the perception of e-learning users. This study was a Research and Development study with ADDIE model by Branch which were analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data was collected with questionnaires, interview, and observation. The result of this research showed that: (1) the e-learning model for subject of introduction and measurement of electricity covered three elements which were the proportional content layout, the simple interface with appropriate color composition, and the learning supporting facilities which were material access, discussion, task, and quiz; (2) the feasibility of e-learning by media experts acquired a total average score of 79.50 out of 100 or 79.50% so that it belonged to “feasible” category, whereas the feasibility of material by material experts acquired a total average score of 61.50 out of 84.00 or 73.21% and classified as “feasible” category; (3) the users’ perception of e-learning who were teachers acquired a total score of 81.00 out of 96.00 or 84.38% so that it belonged to “excellent” category, whereas students’ perception acquired a total average score 65.00 out of 80.00 or 81.25% so that it belonged to “excellent” category.
