DEVELOPMENT OF LOGIC GATE TRAINER AS A LEARNING MEDIA ON IMPLEMENTATION OF BASIC ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONICS THEORY

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan trainer gerbang logika menurut ahli media dan ahli materi serta untuk mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap trainer gerbang logika sebagai media pembelajaran Penerapan Konsep Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian pengembangan (research and development) ini dilakukan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) milik Robert Maribe Branch (2009). Penelitian dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Penerapan Konsep Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika kelas x jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis diskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) tingkat kelayakan trainer gerbang logika menurut penilaian ahli media dikategorikan “sangat layak” dengan persentase 83%; (2) tingkat kelayakan trainer gerbang logika menurut penilaian ahli materi dikategorikan “sangat layak” dengan persentase 82%; (3) respon pengguna terhadap trainer gerbang logika dikategorikan “baik” dengan persentase 78%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility level of logic gate trainer according to media experts and subject matter experts as well as to determine the user response to the logic gate trainer as a learning media on Implementation of Basic Electric and Electronics Theory at SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This research and development was done with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model of Robert Maribe Branch (2009). The study was conducted on Implementation of Basic Electric and Electronics Theory course of 10th grade of Electric Power Installation Enginering at SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research are: (1) the feasibility of logic gate trainer according to media expert assessment categorized as "very feasible" with a percentage of 83%; (2) the feasibility of logic gate trainer according to expert assessment of the material categorized as "very feasible" with a percentage of 82%; (3) the user response to the logic gate trainer are categorized as "good" with a percentage of 78%.
