Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin). Evaluasi ini terdiri dari: (1) evaluasi masukan: (a) kesiapan siswa, (b) proses pembelajaran produktif, (c) sarana dan prasarana; (2) evaluasi proses: (a) kinerja guru pembimbing, (b) kinerja siswa; (3) evaluasi hasil: kesiapan kerja siswa; (4) mengidentifikasi kendala yang dirasakan siswa saat pelaksanaan Prakerin. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian evaluasi program dengan model Stake. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan pelaksanaan Prakerin pada masukan dalam kategori baik (139,09 dari skor tertinggi ideal), (2) pelaksanaan Prakerin pada aspek proses dalam kategori sangat baik (143 dari skor tertinggi ideal 176), (3) hasil dari pelaksanaan Prakerin pada aspek hasil dalam kategori sangat baik (147,39 dari skor tertinggi ideal 176), (4) kendala yang dirasakan siswa: (a) tidak mendapatkan uang makan, (b) kurang pembekalan dari sekolah, (c) kurang menerapkan K3.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of the Industrial Work Practices program. This evaluation consists of: (1) the evaluation of inputs: (a) the readiness of students,(b) productive learning process, (c) facilities and infrastructure; (2) The evaluation process: (a) the performance of a tutor, (b) the performance of the students; (3) evaluation of the results: job readiness of students; (4) identification of the constraints felt by the students during the implementation of Industrial Employment Practices. This research included Stake program with evaluation model. Data collecting method was done by documentation, observation and questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: (1) the readiness of the implementation for Industrial Work Practices in input aspects was categorized as good (139.09 out of 176), (2) the implementation of the Industrial Work Practices in process aspects was categorized as excellent (143 out of 176), (3) the results of the implementation of the Industrial Work Practices in results aspect was categorized as excellent (147.39 out of 176),  (4) the constraints felt by students: (a) no food allowance provided, (b) lack of preparation from the school, (c) lack of occupational Health and Safety awareness.
