KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN DASAR DAN PENGUKURAN LISTRIK BERBANTUAN LIVEWIRE DI SMK NEGERI 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Livewire dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada pencapaian kompetensi Perancangan Digital Dasar siswa Kelas X SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian TITL SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini sebanyak 62 siswa dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 124 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment.  Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan angket. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, N-gain, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model Project Based Learning berbantuan Livewire lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai gain rata-rata kelas eksperimen 0,65 sedangkan kelas kontrol 0,48; (2) model Project Based Learning berbantuan Livewire lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah psikomotor dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata ranah psikomotor kelas eksperimen 86,225 sedangkan kelas kontrol 76,161; (3) model Project Based Learning berbantuan Livewire lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah afektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata ranah afektif kelas eksperimen 76,74 sedangkan kelas kontrol 72,96.

Abstract

            The purposes of this research was to find out the effectiveness of project based learning model using Livewire in order to improve students’ learning competence in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domain compared to conventional learning model in achievement of Basic Digital Circuitry Design competence. Subjects in this research were X grade students of TITL class  SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The sample in this research was 62 students from total population of 124 students. This research was done using quasi experiment approach. Data were collected using test, observation, and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive, N-gain, and Ttest analysis. The results showed that: (1) Project Based Learning model using Livewire was more effective than conventional model to improve students’ learning outcome in cognitive domain according to the result of gain score. The gain score in experiment class, 0.65, was higher than the gain in control class, 0.48; (2) Project Based Learning model using Livewire was more effective than conventional model to improve students’ learning outcome in psychomotor domain according to the result of average score. The average score in experiment class, 86.225, was higher than the average in control class, 76.161; (3) Project Based Learning model using Livewire was more effective than conventional model to improve students’ learning outcome in affective domain according to the result of average score. The average score in experiment class, 76.74, was higher than the average in control class, 72.96 .
