EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH BERBANTUAN TRAINER HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE UNTUK PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PERAKITAN SISTEM PLC SMK N 2 DEPOK

Abstract


Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) gambaran penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Trainer Human Machine Interface untuk meningkatkan kompetensi merakit sistem PLC, (2) perbedaan hasil kompetensi antara pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Trainer Human Machine Interface dan pembelajaran konvensional, serta (3) efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Trainer Human Machine Interface untuk meningkatkan kompetensi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu True Experimental dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji Mann-Whitney, dan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) semua siswa (100%) hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan afektif termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan ranah psikomotorik sebagian besar (93,33%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan sebagian kecil (6,67%) termasuk kategori baik, (2) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Trainer Human Machine Interface dan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran, (3) terdapat efektivitas penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Trainer Human Machine Interface dalam meningkatkan kompetensi merakit sistem PLC.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to determine:   (1) overview of implementation problem based learning usingTrainer Human Machine Interface to improve the competence of PLC systemsassembling, (2) the difference of students’ learning outcomes between problem based learning withTrainer Human Machine Interface and conventional learning ones, (3) the effectiveness of problem based learning using Trainer Human Machine Interface to improve the competency. This study was conducted using True Experimental approach with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collecting was done by testing and observation instruments. Data wereanalyzedwith descriptive analysis, Mann-Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test. The result of this study showed  that: (1) all (100%) students’cognitive and affective learning outcomeswere included in excellent category, while the psychomotor domain (93.33%) wasincluded in excellent category andpartially (6.67%) included in good category, (2) there were differences between the competence of students who use problem based learning using Trainer Human Machine Interface and students who use conventional learning, (3) there was effectiveness of implementation problem based learning using Trainer Human Machine Interface in improving the competence PLC systemsassembling.
