PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI SISWA KELAS XI DI SMK NASIONAL BERBAH METODE PBL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran PBL yang tepat pada mata pelajaran IML siswa kelas XI TITL di SMK Nasional Berbah untuk meningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 siswa kelas XI  TITL. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas tiga pertemuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada akhir siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar aspek kognitif persentase lulus sebesar 59,38% dengan nilai rata-rata 72,08, aspek psikomotor siswa persentase lulus sebesar 50,00% dengan nilai rata-rata 67,39, aspek motivasi siswa sebanyak 43,75% yang mencapai kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 72,89. Pada akhir siklus II diperoleh hasil belajar aspek kognitif persentase lulus sebesar 90,63% dengan nilai rata-rata 82,92, aspek psikomotor siswa persentase lulus sebesar 87,50% dengan nilai rata-rata 82,09, aspek motivasi siswa sebanyak 84,38% siswa yang mencapai kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 81,17.

Abstract

            This research aims for knowing implementation appropriate PBL learning method on the IML lesson subject of student from SMK Nasional Berbah class XI TITL for improving learning result and student motivation. Research subjects is 32 students from class XI TITL. This study is classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Data collection using tests, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis in this research is descriptive, quantitative and qualitative. The result of the research at the end of cycle I obtained the learning result of cognitive aspect percentage pass was 59,38% with the average value 72,08, student psychomotor aspect percentage pass 50.00% with average score 67,39, student motivation aspect as much as 43.75% who achieved good category with an average score of 72.89. At the end of cycle II obtained the learning result cognitive aspect percentage pass 90.63% with an average score of 82.92, student psychomotor aspect percentage pass 87.50% with an average score of 82.09, student motivation aspect as much as 84.38% of student who achieved good category with an average score of 81.17.
