POLICE EFFORT TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF LAW STUDENTS PASSED IN ROAD TRAFFIC IN THE AREA POLRES SLEMAN
Abstract
This study aimed to police efforts to raise awareness road traffic law student at the Regional Police Sleman and barriers, as well as efforts to minimize these obstacles. This study though researchers with qualitative approach. The research subjects determined by purposive, namely Chief Unit Satbinmas research subject, two members Satbinmas, Kanit Dikyasa. The technique of collecting data by interview and documentation. Mechanical checks the validity of the data were cross-checked. Inductive data analysis techniques through data reduction, categorization of data, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study police police station to provide guidance and counseling, involving students campaign orderly traffic, giving the helmet a free, interactive dialogue via radio, installation of billboards and posters in strategic places, socializing Law No. 22 of 2009, Division of stickers orderly traffic, warning to students who violate, orderly traffic education to campus security. Barriers include; do not have a schedule for dissemination to the university, banners and billboards damaged, students dutifully rule if no police, no specific timetable radio interactive dialogue. Efforts to minimize these barriers; held a coordination meeting provost, replace banners and banner damaged, rigorous safeguards contained in the ringroad police stations, radio communication with the implementation of an interactive dialogue.
