THE APPLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC APPROACH CURRICULUM 2013 IN LEARNING PANCASILA AND CITIZENSHIP IN SMP NEGERI 1 PRAMBANAN KLATEN

Abstract


ABSTRACT

This study aims to describe the process of making the lesson plans of learning (RPP) of PPKn with the scientific approach, and the implementation of PPKn learning with scientific approach in SMP Negeri 1 Prambanan Klaten. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Determination of the subject using purposive technique. Subject in the study were four teachers of PPKn in SMP Negeri 1 Prambanan Klaten. Technique of data collection is done with the interview, documentetion and observation. Technique examination of data validity used is triangulation method. The data obtained were analyzed using Creswell inductive logic data analysis method, forming themes, categories, patterns, and meanings. Research results show that, 1) teacher PPKn in SMP Negeri 1 Prambanan Klaten in drawing up the RPP PPKn  first teachers choose a core competency, then choose a basic competency, then choose a basic competencies contained in the syallabus, the basic competence is selected leads to the subject matter that will be taught. Then in choosing the teaching method the teacher chooses to use varied methods such as group discussions, lectures, frequently asked questions, value clarification, discovery learning, etc. Then on the determination of teacher learning media determine the media in accordance with the material to be taught. The preparation of the learning steps with the scientific approach of the teacher does not specify the 5M activities in the RPP. The scientific steps detailed in the RPP are based on the specified learning model. 2) implementation learning PPKn with scientific approach that teachers explain the material using the methods vary lecture appropriate key points such as historic dates, figures, plances and content anyway. Competencies obtained after following the PPKn learning with scientific approach are attitude, knowledge and skill.
