IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI MEKANIK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan  mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Mekanik kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 1 Wanareja tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X sebanyak 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan dan tes objektif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT ini meliputi 4 tahap yaitu, presentasi kelas, diskusi tim, permainan turnamen, dan rekognisi tim. Pada siklus I membahas materi tentang kompresor dan tim yang mendapat nilai tertinggi saat gim turnamen adalah tim 2. Pada siklus II membahas materi pompa dan tim dengan nilai tertinggi saat permainan turnamen adalah tim 5. Secara keseluruhan, tim yang paling unggul adalah tim 2 dengan rata-rata skor 150. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas dari 53 (tes awal) menjadi 85 (tes akhir) dengan peningkatan sebesar 60,3%.

This study aims to implement cooperative learning model TGT type and know the improvement of student learning result using TGT type of cooperative learning model on subjects of Mechanical Technology class X SMK N 1 Wanareja lesson year 2016/2017. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of the study were class X students as many as 34 students. Technique of collecting data using observation method and objective test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of cooperative learning model type TGT includes 4 stages namely, class presentations, team discussions, games tournaments, and team recognition. In cycle I discuss the material about the compressor and the team that scored the highest when the game tournament is team 2. In cycle II discuss the material pump and team with the highest score when the game tournament is a team of 5. Overall, the most superior team is team 2 with flat a score of 150. Student learning result have increased, this is evidenced by the increase in average grade values from 53 (pretest) to 85 (posttest) with an increase 60.3%.
