UPAYA PENINGKATAN SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN BENGKEL PEMESINAN PADA SISWA KELAS XII TEKNIK PEMESINAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan bengkel pemesinan menggunakan model pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas XII Teknik pemesinan sebanyak 20 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuesioner dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik deskriptif persentase menggunakan skala likert. Hasil dalam penelitian menunjukan bahwa: peningkatan sikap peduli lingkungan bengkel pemesinan dengan hasil rata-rata skor pre-test siswa sebesar 51,5 atau 49% meningkat pada skor post-test siklus I sebesar 63,9 atau 61%, dan pada siklus II skor meningkat sebesar 88 atau 85% hal ini didukung oleh hasil observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah menggunakan model pembelajaran STM secara efektif.

This study aims to increase the attitude of caring for the environment of the machining workshop using the Science Technology Society (STM) learning model in integrated thematic learning. This study uses a class action research method. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XII machining engineering. The method of collecting data in this study is using a questionnaire and observation method. The data analysis technique used is percentage descriptive statistical technique using a Likert scale. The results in the study showed that: an increase in caring attitude towards the machining workshop environment with an average student pre-test score of 51.5 or 49% increased in the post-test score of cycle I by 63.9 or 61%, and in cycle II the score increased by 88 or 85%, this is supported by the results of observations which show that students have used the Science Technology Society (STM) learning model effectively.
