EKSPEKTASI SISWA SMK DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA KOMPETENSI KEAHLIAN TEKNIK PEMESINAN SETELAH LULUS

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ekspektasi siswa kelas XI SMK di Kota Yogyakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan untuk memasuki dunia kerja, melanjutkan studi, dan berwirausaha. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di 4 sekolah yang berada di Kota Yogyakarta yaitu SMKN 2 Yogyakarta, SMKN 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta dengan populasi siswa kelas sebelas kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan. Sampel total berjumlah 171 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ekspektasi siswa kelas sebelas SMK kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di Kota Yogyakarta untuk memasuki dunia kerja persentasenya sebesar 76,7% yang termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan ekspektasi siswa untuk melanjutkan studi persentasenya sebesar 81% yang termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Dan yang terakhir ekspektasi siswa untuk berwirausaha persentasenya sebesar 81% yang juga termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi.

The purpose of this study was to determine the expectations of class XI SMK students in Yogyakarta City Machining Engineering Skills Competence to enter the world of work, continue their studies, and become entrepreneurs. This research is a survey research with quantitative descriptive analysis method. The research was conducted in 4 schools located in the city of Yogyakarta, namely SMKN 2 Yogyakarta, SMKN 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with a population of eleventh grade competence in mechanical engineering skills. The total sample is 171 students. The results of this study indicate that the proportion of eleventh grade students of SMK with mechanical engineering competence in Yogyakarta City is expected to enter the world, the proportion is 76.7% which is included in the high category. While the percentage of students' expectations to continue their studies is 81% which is included in the high category. And lastly, the percentage of entrepreneurship expectations is 81% which is also included in the high category.
