IMPLEMENTASI MODUL PRAKTIK PENGECORAN ALUMUNIUM SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PENGECORAN LOGAM

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi modul praktik pengecoran aluminium dalam pembelajaran pengecoran logam di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah 1 Playen. Ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang berbentuk Randomized Subjects, Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata postes meningkat 35,31, sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat 21,07. Ketuntasan nilai posttest kelompok eksperimen adalah 65,62%. Ini lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol yang ketuntasannya hanya 39,28%. Uji tanda menunjukkan perbedaan dalam pencapaian prestasi antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol yang membuktikan bahwa penggunaan modul memberikan efek positif. Respon siswa terhadap modul menunjukkan kategori sangat baik dengan kelayakan 80,57%. Respon terdiri dari kelayakan penampilan 80,28% dan kemanfaatan 81,14%.

This research is aimed at finding out the effect of module of aluminum casting practice in metal casting learning at Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Playen. This is an experiment research with form of Randomized Subjects, Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design with a quantitative approach. The result shows that the posttest average increase 35,31, while the control group increase 21,07. The completeness of posttest score of experiment group is 65,62%. This is higher than the control group which the completeness is only 39,28%. Sign test indicates differences in the achievement between the experimental and control group which is proving the use of module gives positive effect. The student response to the module shows very good category with feasibility of 80,57%. The response consist of feasibility of appearance 80,28% and usefulness 81,14%.
