PERBANDINGAN PBL DAN CL DITINJAU DARI HASIL BELAJAR DPTM

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan model pembelajaran manakah yang lebih efektif antara problem based learning (PBL) dan cooperative learning (CL) terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Dasar Perancangan Teknik Mesin (DPTM) siswa SMK Negeri 2 Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes. Analisis data mengunakan independent  t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan kelas yang diajar dengan cooperative learning. Model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih efektif dari cooperative learning. Hal ini disimpulkan berdasarkan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar model pembelajaran problem based learning sebesar 31,70 sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar model pembelajaran cooperative learning yaitu sebesar 27,18.

The aim of this study was to find out which learning model was more effective between problem based learning (PBL) and cooperative learning (CL) on students’ learning outcomes of the basic subjects of mechanical engineering design at SMK Negeri 2 Klaten. This research is a quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The research data was collected through the implementation of learning sheets and test. Data was analyzed by using independent  t-test. The results showed that there were differences in students’ learning outcomes between the class which was taught by problem based learning and the class which was taught by cooperative learning. The problem based learning learning model is more effective than cooperative learning model. This was concluded based on the improvement of the students' learning outcomes from the learning model of problem based learning with score 31.70 while the improvement of the students' learning outcomes of cooperative learning is 27.18.
