PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BIMBINGAN KARIR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERENCANAAN KARIR SISWA KELAS XI PROGRAM TEKNIK PEMESINAN

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul bimbingan karir yang layak dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas modul dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karir pada siswa kelas XI Program Teknik Pemesinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan. Objek penelitian ini berupa modul bimbingan karir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, ahli bimbingan konseling dan 56 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan modul yang dilakukan didapatkan isi modul bimbingan karir yaitu sampul, kata pengantar, daftar isi, glosarium, petunjuk penggunaan modul, pendahuluan, materi modul dan daftar pustaka. Modul yang telah dibuat kemudian diuji kelayakan. Dari hasil uji kelayakan modul didapatkan data kelayakan dari ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 87,5%, dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media sebesar 76,67% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 80,76% dengan kategori sangat baik, uji coba lapangan sebesar 80,9% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil uji efektifitas modul bimbingan karir didapatkan data peningkatan perencanaan karir sebesar 41,67%.

This study aimed to produce an appropriate career guidance module and to find out the effectiveness of the module in improving the career planning maturity among students of Grade XI of the Machining Engineering Program. The study used a research and development approach. The research object was a career guidance module. The subjects were three experts consisting of a materials expert, a counseling expert, and a media expert, and 56 students. The data were collected through questionnaires. Based on the results of the module development, the contents of the career guidance module included the cover, preface, table of contents, glossary, module user’s guide, introduction, module materials, and references. The developed module was tried out for its appropriateness. From the results of the module appropriateness tryout, the appropriateness of the module was 87.5% (very good) according to the material expert, 76.67% (very good) according to the media expert, 80.76% (very good) according to the guidance and counseling expert, and 80.9% (very good) from the field tryout. Based on the results of the test of the effectiveness of the career guidance module, the improvement of the career planning was 41.67%.
