PENGARUH MINAT MEMILIH PROGRAM TEKNIK PEMESINAN DAN WAWASAN KARIR TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA KELAS XI DI SMK NEGERI 2 DEPOK YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat memilih program keahlian teknik pemesinan dan wawasan karier secara terpisah dan bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 2 Depok, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 52 siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik Nonprobability Sampling dengan jenis Sampling Sistematis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: minat memilih progam keahlian teknik pemesinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 10,1% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 4,3%; wawasan karier memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 18,7% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 15,8%; minat memilih program keahlian teknik pemesinan dan wawasan karir secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 20,1%.

This study aims to determine the effect of interest in choosing machining engineering expertise programs and career insights separately and together on the work readiness of class XI students at SMK Negeri 2 Depok, Yogyakarta. This research is an ex-post facto research with quantitative descriptive research type. The study population consisted of 60 students of class XI of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program for the 2017/2018 school year. The sample used was 52 students of class XI of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program. The sampling technique uses Nonprobability Sampling technique with Systematic Sampling type. Data collection using questionnaire and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used was simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are: the interest in choosing a machining engineering expertise program has a positive and significant influence of 10.1% and an effective contribution of 4.3%; career insight has a positive and significant influence of 18.7% and an effective contribution of 15.8%; interest in choosing a machining engineering expertise program and career insight together have a positive and significant effect of 20.1%.
