PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STAD PADA MATA PELAJARAN TMMTEM

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan partisipasi dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Mekanik, Mekanika Teknik, dan Elemen Mesin (TMMTEM) melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Metode untuk menganalisis data yaitu menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi belajar siswa SMK pada mata pelajaran TMMTEM, dengan KKM sebesar 75. Partisipasi siswa siklus I dan II diperoleh rata-rata persentase 53,91% dan 75,16%. Prestasi belajar siklus I dan II diperoleh rata-rata nilai 72,7 dan 80,63.

This study aims to determine the increase of student participation and achievement in learninig of Mechanical Technology, Engineering Mechanics, and Mechanical Elements (TMMTEM) through STAD type of cooperative learning subject of Vocational High School students. This study is a classroom action research with the design of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The techniques in data collecting using observation sheets, test, and documentation. The method to analyze data is quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that implementation of STAD is enhance the participation and achievement on the subjects of TMMTEM with Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) of 75. Participation, first and second cycle obtained an average percentage of 53,91% and 75,16%. Achievement,  first and second cycle obtained an average value of 72.7 and 80,63.
