EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN METODE INQUIRY BERBANTUAN MEDIA INFOGRAFIS PADA KOMPETENSI GAMBAR PROYEKSI KELAS X TEKNIK INSTALASI PEMANFAATAN TENAGA LISTRIK SMK NEGERI 2 KLATEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan media infografis sebagai media pembelajaran gambar proyeksi, (2) efektivitas metode inquiry berbantuan media infografis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi gambar proyeksi siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design diawali dengan penelitian R&D model Borg and Gall. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TIPTL SMKN 2 Klaten yang berjumlah 54 siswa. Analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif dan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) media infografis layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan skor rerata ahli materi sebesar 3.40 dan ahli media sebesar 3.70, skor rerata ujicoba siswa sebesar 3.03 dari 4.00. (2) Penggunaan metode inquiry berbantuan media infografis efektif meningkatkan kompetensi gambar proyeksi ditinjau dari aspek kognitif dengan Asymp Sig. 0.000<0.05 dan rerata gain 0.58, serta aspek afektif dengan Asymp Sig. 0.018<0.05  dan rerata gain 0.55, sedangkan aspek psikomotorik tidak lebih efektif dengan Asymp Sig. 0.279>0.05.

Abstract

This research aim to know: (1) feasibility of  infographics media as education media for image projection, (2) the effectiveness of inquiry method assisted infographic media in enhancing the competence of the projected image as compared to conventional learning methods reviewed from aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. This research is a research experiment with types of nonequivalent control group design research and was began with the R&D type of BorgGall. The subject of this study are students of class X TIPTL SMK N 2 Klaten with a total student is 54. The data analysis using descriptive analysis and Mann Whitney test. The result from this research indicate that: (1) infographics media is feasible used as education media with average score from matter expert is 3.40 and media expert is 3.70 from 4.00, the average score impact of media on the students is 3.03 from 4.00. (2) The use of inquiry learning methods with media infographics is effective in enhancing the competence of the projected image viewed from cognitive aspect with the Asymp Sig. is 0.000<0.05 and average gain score is 0.58, from affective aspect with  the Asymp Sig. is 0.018<0.05 and average gain score is 0.55, but viewed from psychomotor aspect is not more effective with the Asymp Sig is 0.279>0.05.
