PENGARUH PERHATIAN ORANG TUA DAN KETERAMPILAN BERKOMUNIKASI TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI JURUSAN TEKNIK KOMPUTER DAN JARINGAN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PLAYEN

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar, (2) mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan berkomunikasi terhadap prestasi belajar, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh perhatian orang tua dan keterampilan berkomunikasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket dan nilai rapor. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perhatian orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 5,678 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (thitung> ttabel) yaitu 5,678 > 2,000 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,078; (2) Keterampilan berkomunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 2,752 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (thitung> ttabel) yaitu 2,752 > 2,000 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,134; (3) dan hasil dari analisis regresi ganda menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua dan keterampilan berkomunikasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 5,066 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (Fhitung> Ftabel) yaitu 5,066 > 3,14 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,125 atau sumbangan efektif sebesar 12,5%. Dengan demikian untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan perhatian orang tua dan keterampilan berkomunikasi.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to: (1) found out the effect of parents attention towards students learning achievement, (2) found out the effect of communication skill towards students learning achievement, and (3) found out the effects of parents attention and communication skill towards 66 students learning achievement of class. The datas were collected by questionnaire and student reports book. The technical of data analysis used the simple regression analysis and multiple regressions. The results showed that: (1) Parents attention was positively and significantly influenced towards students learning achievement which were indicated by the value of tcount: 5.678 at 5% significance level (tcount > ttable) was 5.678 > 2.000 and the correlation coefficient: 0.078; (2) Communication skill was positively and significantly influenced towards students learning achievement which were indicated by the value of tcount: 2.752 at 5% significance level (tcount> ttable) was 2.752 > 2.000 and the correlation coefficient: 0.134; (3) and the results of multiple regression analysis showed that parents attention and communication skill equally influenced positively and significantly towards students learning achievement which were indicated by the value of Fcount: 5,066 at 5% significance level (Fcount> Ftable) was 5.066 > 3,14 and the coefficient of determination was 0.125 or effective contribution at 12.5%. Thus to improve student learning achievement could be done by increasing parents attention and communication skill.
