Abstrak

 

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk: (1) gambaran pretest dan posttest hasil belajar kemampuan kognitif kelas dengan metode Project Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas dengan metode ceramah; (2) gambaran hasil belajar ranah afektif kelas dengan metode Project Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas dengan metode ceramah; (3) gambaran hasil belajar ranah psikomotorik kelas dengan metode Project Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas dengan metode ceramah; (4) gambaran gain hasil belajar ranah kognitif kelas dengan metode Project Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas dengan metode ceramah; (5) efektivitas metode Project Based Learning (PBL) dibandingkan metode ceramah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif. Hasil penelitian : (1) hasil pretest kelas metode Project Based Learning (PBL) kategori sedang dengan rerata sebesar 6,58, hasil posttest kelas metode Project Based Learning (PBL) kategori baik dengan rerata sebesar 7.97, hasil pretest kelas metode ceramah kategori sedang dengan rerata sebesar 6,06, hasil posttest kelas metode ceramah kategori sedang dengan rerata sebesar 6,73; (2) hasil ranah afektif kelas metode Project Based Learning (PBL) kategori baik dengan rerata sebesar 8,03, hasil ranah afektif kelas metode ceramah kategori sedang dengan rerata sebesar 6,94; (3) hasil ranah psikomotorik metode Project Based Learning (PBL) kategori baik dengan rerata sebesar 7,58, hasil ranah psikomotorik kelas metode ceramah kategori sedang dengan rerata sebesar 7,03; (4) gain hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen dalam kategori sedang dengan skor rerata gain sebesar 0,38, gain hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas kontrol dalam kategori rendah dengan skor rerata gain sebesar 0,04; (5) metode Project Based Learning (PBL) lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran ceramah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dibuktikan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,777 dengan signifikansi 0,0017 (< 0,05).

Abstract

 

The research aim to: 1) overview pretest and posttest learning outcomes of cognitive abilities to class Project Based Learning (PBL) method and classroom with lectures method; (2) overview affective learning outcomes for class Project Based Learning (PBL) method and class with lecture method; (3) overview psychomotor learning outcomes for class Project Based Learning (PBL) method and class with lecture method; (4) overview a gain cognitive learning outcomes for classroom Project Based Learning (PBL) method and classroom with lectures method; (5) the effectiveness of the learning model of Project Based Learning (PBL) than lecture learning model to improve cognitive abilities. The results: 1) pretest results classroom with learning model Project Based Learning (PBL) is medium with average of 6.58, picture posttest results classroom with Project Based Learning (PBL) method is good with average of 7.97, the results of the pretest class with lectures method is medium with average of 6.06, the results of the posttest with class lectures method is medium with average of 6.73; (2) results affective domain of class Project Based Learning (PBL) method is good with average of 8.03, the result of the affective domain of class lectures method is medium with average of 6.94; (3) results psychomotor domain model class Project Based Learning (PBL) method is good the category average of 7.58, the results of psychomotor domain model class lectures method is medium with average of 7.03; (4) gain cognitive students learning outcomes experimental class in medium with average score of 0.38 gain, the gain is the result of cognitive students learning control class is in the low with average score gain of 0.04; (5) Project Based Learning (PBL) method is more effective than lecture method to improve cognitive abilities evidenced t test results obtained t value of 2.777 with a significance of 0.0017 (<0.05).
