PENERAPAN ACCELERATED LEARNING DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAVI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA KOMPETENSI MIKROKONTROLER DI SMK NEGERI 1 PUNDONG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengetahui penerapan Accelerated learning dengan Pendekatan SAVI yang dapat mencapai tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik dengan kategori sangat baik (2) mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada kompetensi Mikrokontroler setelah menerapkan Accelerated learning dengan Pendekatan SAVI. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini: (1) Accelerated learning dengan pendekatan SAVI diterapkan dengan langkah-langkah Motivating Your Mind, Acquiring the Information, Searching Out the Meaning, Triggering the Information, Exhibiting What You Know dan Reflecting How You’ve Learned yang pelaksanaannya menggunakan aspek somatis, auditori, visual dan intelektual. (2) Peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik di tunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan persentase rata-rata motivasi belajar dari sebelum siklus hingga siklus III. Sebelum siklus dilaksanakan rata-rata motivasi belajar sebesar 73.04% pada siklus I rata-rata motivasi belajar meningkat menjadi 76.34%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 76.7% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 81.42%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the implementation of Accelerated learning with SAVI approach that can achieve the level of student’s learning motivation in very good category; (2) find out the improvement of student’s learning motivation in microcontroller competence after applying Accelerated learning with SAVI approach. This study is classroom action research conducted over three cycles. Every cycle used three steps there are Planing, Action & Obervation, and Reflection. Results of this study were: (1) Implementation of Accelerated learning with SAVI approach used steps Motivating Your Mind, Acquiring the Information, Searching Out the Meaning, Triggering the Information, Exhibiting What You Know and Reflecting How You’ve Learned that implemented using the somatic, auditory, visual and intelectual aspects. (2) The improvement of student’s learning motivation is indicated by the increase of average percentage of learning motivation before the cycle until the third cycles. Before cycles implemented the average of student’s learning motivation is 73.04%. In cycle I the average of student’s learning motivation increased to 76.34%, in cycle II increased to 76.7% and in cycle III increased to 81.42%.
