Abstract
This research aims to explain the effectiveness of the Prevention of Stunting Prone to Eliminate Malnutrition and Improve the People's Economy Programme, abbreviated as the ‘Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat’ programme, and to identify the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat innovation programme in achieving Sleman new zero stunting. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This method was chosen to be able to explore in-depth information related to the effectiveness of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme, the problems faced, and the solutions needed. Through in-depth interviews and documentation review, qualitative data was collected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme in the field.
The results of the study showed the following findings: (1) The Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme has been successfully socialised quite well, although there are still indications that there are parties who do not fully understand the programme. (2) The Pecah Recah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat Innovation Programme targets two vulnerable groups, namely pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (Bumil KEK) and stunting or stunting-prone toddlers. (3) The implementation of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme succeeded in improving the nutritional status level of toddlers who were initially at the Red Line Limit (BGM) prone to stunting. (4) Monitoring and evaluation of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme is carried out by the Puskesmas and the Sleman Regency Health Office on a regular basis. (5) The inhibiting factors in the implementation of this programme are budget constraints, limited supervisory capacity of the Puskesmas and Posyandu, lack of commitment from parents of programme recipients, and the overall socialisation of the programme which is still not optimal. This research shows that the implementation of the Pecah Ranting Hiburane Rakyat programme has the potential to bring Sleman to the status of newzero stunting cases.Full Text:
