Implementation Of Bantul Bersih Sampah Tahun 2025 (Bantul Bersama) In Bantul District

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of the Bantul Bersama program as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors in overcoming waste problems in Bantul District. The design of this study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data source obtained through primary data consists of interviews and observations with research informants. Meanwhile, secondary data comes from documentary studies including regulations, reports, and journals.

The results of the study show that the implementation of the Bantul Bersama program has not been running optimally. This is not in accordance with the success of policy implementation according to Grindle's theory (1980), namely the content of policy and the context of policy. Decision-making is based on the problems that exist in Bantul District and the implementation of the program involves stakeholders in waste management. However, the changes to be achieved have not been able to be realized due to the lack of community participation in waste management activities. The strategy of the implementation of the Bantul Bersama program is through a decentralized waste management system that involves households/communities as the main producers of waste. This involvement includes households up to the district level in waste management in accordance with their respective roles. Meanwhile, the response and compliance from the target group has not been running optimally. There are also supporting factors, namely stakeholder involvement, budget support. The inhibiting factors of the program are limited facilities & infrastructure and budget, lack of public awareness, and limited technology.
