CODE – SWITCHING AND CODE – MIXING OF JAVA LANGUAGE ON THE OLX ONLINE SALE SITE SPECIALLY BIRD CATEGORY

Abstract

The purpose of this study to explain the type of code switching and code mixing found on the site selling and buying OLX online sale site specially bird category. This research also explains the factors that influence the code switching and code mixing.

This research includes descriptive research. Particularly to discuss code switching and code mixingfound on OLX online sale site and the factors that affect both these issues. Method to retrieve data using uninvolved conversation observationtechnique  analyze data using the descriptive, analytical technique. Validity used with the validity of triangulation theory,by connecting the data with the theory used basic research. Reliability used to the reliability of stability.

The results of this study can be found the type of internal and external code switching. Instead of inter-code is a transfer of code between languages and transfer of speech level code. Factors influencing the interception of code are spoken from previous speakers, speakers intend to explain a certain sense, change the topic when talking, explain a problem, ask something to the opponent said, speakers cannot use the language code fixed and speakers will use a shortcut.
