FAMILY CONFLICT IN THE NOVEL OF KETEMU SUWIRANING DAGING BY CH. IS SARDJOKO

Abstract

The objective of research is to explain family conflict in the Novel of Ketemu Suwiraning Daging. This research will be discussed with approach to the sociology of literature. The purpose is study to find manifestation of the problem, the background factors issues, and how to solve problems. The study included descriptive study because the data used in the form of words that generate data descriptions source of research data is a novel entitled  Katamu Suwiraning Daging created by Ch. Is. Sardjoko. Techniques used in collecting the data is read ad write. The technique to analysis the data to use the theory is applied using: 1) a reference to how the research is expected. Applied theory is used in order to determine the direction of research. 2) categorization is to find the context of the story (find manifestation of the problem, the background factors issues, and howto solve problems). 3) tabulation is data used is made in the table. The data that has been found the techniqueto reach validity by contextual semantics that’s mean the data in the form of words, sentence, discourse, dialogue, monologue, interaction between characters and plot are found on the novel Ketemu Suwiraning Daging. The realibility of the data is using intrarater (that mean how validate the data by reading over and over again until you get the correct data).
