THE ANALYSIS OF SCHOOL'S FINAL EXAMINATION ON BAHASA JAWA (JAVANESE LANGUAGE) COURSE APPLIED ON CLASS IX OF SMP N 1 PATUK ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/ 2017

Abstract

       The research entitled The analysis of School's Final  examination on Bahasa Jawa (Javanese Language) course applied on Class IX of SMP N 1 Patuk Academic Year 2016/ 2017 was aimed in some objectives (1) describe the content validity (2) reliability (3) level of difficulty (4) level of diversity, and (5) distraction effectiveness. Dealing with those objectives, researcher used quantitative descriptive research. The results of the research were (1) content validity analysis (97.15%) valid (2) the reliability analysis result on Alpha coefficient 0.813 (very good), (3) easy level of difficulty 24 questions (60%), middle level 14 questions (35%), and tough level 2 questions (5%), (4) level of difficulty was resulted in; there were 17 (42.5%) of good questions, 6 (15%) of fair questions,  and 17 (42.5 %) of worse questions, the last is that (5) the effectiveness of distraction; there were 101 out of 160 distraction (63.1%)that is fully functional, and there 59 out of 160 distractions (36.95%) of non-functional distractions. According to the result, it can be concluded that the paper test of Final School examination test of SMP N 1 PATUK is good to be used to measure the knowledge of students but with necessary revisions.
