MORALE VALUE IN MENDUNG KESAPUT ANGIN NOVEL BY AG SUHARTI

Abstract

This research has a purpose to convey the mandate and how to deliver the mandate of Mendhung Kesaput Angin novel by Ag.Suharti. how to convey the message in this research is by direct and indirect way. The direct or explicit way is the authors convey the message with the form of description figures, and dialogue of the story. The indirect way is expressed symbolically and implicitly or implied. Submission of the message is not readily understood or vulgar.This research includes descriptive research. The data in this research are words, sentences, and paragraphs. Data source from Mendhung novel Kesaput Angin by Ag. How to find data that is by reading, determine the unit of analysis, and write data. The data unit is divided into the mandate and the way of delivering the message. The data related to the context of the message are written in the data card. The resulted data is subdivided according to the value of the message and written in the table.In this study found 88 values of trust. The value of a human-related mandate to God Almighty (Praying to God, thanking God, Resigning to God's destiny, Resigning to God's power, believing in God), human relationships with others (mutual help, empathy, compassion for parents, to one woman, faithful to one man, giving priority to others), human relationship with self (admit mistake, caution, hard effort, sincerity, patience when given a trial, honestly, woman must be strong when left husband, cultivate unsustainable households). Keywords: morale, value.
