Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan squat barbel dan squat resistance
band terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pemain sepakbola U-15 tahun di SSB Baturetno.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two groups pre-test-post-test design”.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain di SSB Baturetno yang berjumlah 400 orang. Teknik
sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria yaitu: (1) pemain yang masih aktif
mengikuti latihan, (2) kelompok usia 15 tahun, (3) Kehadiran pada saat treatment minimal 75%, (4)
Sanggup mengikuti seluruh program latihan yang telah disusun. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut yang
memenuhi berjumlah 20 orang. Instrumen power tungkai menggunakan tes vertical jump. Analisis
data menggunakan uji t taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada pengaruh
yang signifikan latihan squat barbel terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pemain sepakbola U-15
tahun di SSB Baturetno, dengan t hitung 2,703 > t tabel 2,262, dan nilai signifikansi 0,024 < 0,05, dan
kenaikan persentase sebesar 2,63%. (2) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan squat resistance band
terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pemain sepakbola U-15 tahun di SSB Baturetno, dengan t hitung
5,071 > t tabel 2,262, dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, dan kenaikan persentase sebesar 4,82%. (3)
Latihan squat resistance band lebih baik daripada squat barbel terhadap peningkatan power tungkai
pemain sepakbola U-15 tahun di SSB Baturetno, dengan selisih rata-rata posttest sebesar 0,60 cm.

Abstract
The research aims to determine the effect of barbell squat training and squat resistance band
training on the improvement of leg power of U-15 year old football players of SSB (Football School)
Baturetno. This research employed experimental method with the "two groups pre-test-post-test
design". Population of the research was 400 players in SSB Baturetno. Sampling technique used
purposive sampling, with the criteria: (1) players who were still actively participating in the training,
(2) the age group of 15 years, (3) attendance at the time of treatment was at least 75%, (4) able to
participate in all training programs that had been prepared . Based on those criteria, 20 players were
selected. The leg power instrument applied vertical jump test. Data analysis used was by t test with
significance level 5%. Research results indicate that (1) there is significant effect of barbell squat
training on the improvement of U-15 years football player's leg power in SSB Baturetno, with t
calculate 2.703> t table 2.262, and significance value 0.024 < 0.05, and percentage improvement
2.63%. (2) There is significant effect on the squat resistance band training on improving the leg
power of U-15 football players in SSB Baturetno, with t calculate 5.071> t table 2.262, and
significance value 0.001 <0.05, and percentage improvement 4.82 %. (3) The squat resistance band
training is better than the barbell squat training for increasing the leg power of U-15 year football
players in SSB Baturetno, with difference in post-test average 0.60 cm.
