KEMAMPUAN GERAK DASAR SOFTBALL PADA PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER DI SMA N 1 WATES TAHUN 2015

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil KEJURDA softball 2014 bahwa peserta ekstrakurikuler softball SMA N 1 Wates berada di peringkat terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan gerak dasar softball pada peserta ekstrakurikuler softball di SMA N 1 Wates. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi dengan jumlah sampel 26 peserta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes melempar, menangkap, memukul, dan lari ke base 1 menurut AAHPER yang di modifikasi oleh B. Surhartini (2011). Hasil ujicoba instrument diperoleh validitas 0,632 dan reliabilitas 0,6. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan melempar bola kategori sangat baik sebanyak 18 peserta (69.2%), baik sebanyak 8 peserta (30.8%), cukup sebanyak 0 (0%), kurang sebanyak 0 (0%). Kemampuan menangkap bola kategori sangat baik sebanyak 14 peserta (53,8%), baik sebanyak 12 peserta (46,2%), cukup sebanyak 0 (0%), kurang sebanyak 0 (0%). Kemampuan memukul bola kategori sangat baik sebanyak 6 peserta (23.1%), baik sebanyak 18 peserta (69.2%), cukup sebanyak 2 peserta (7.7%), kurang sebanyak 0 (0%). Kemampuan lari ke base satu kategori sangat baik sebanyak 7 peserta (73.1%), baik sebanyak 19 peserta (26.9%), cukup sebanyak 0 (0%), kurang sebanyak 0 (0%). The aim of this research was to know the basic skill of playing softball to member of SMAN 1 Wates softball extracurricular. This research is quantitative descriptive. This study was a population study with a sample of 26 participants. Data collection techniques used was a test and measurement. Instruments used in this research was to test throwing, catching, hitting, and running to the base 1 according to AAHPER are modified by Surhartini B. (2011). Instrument test results obtained validity 0.632 and reliability 0.6. Data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis percentage. The results showed that the ability to throw the ball in very good category were 18 participants (69.2%), well as much as 8 participants (30.8%), quite as much as 0 (0%), less from 0 (0%). The ability to catch the ball very good category as many as 14 participants (53.8%), good as much as 12 participants (46.2%), quite as much as 0 (0%), less from 0 (0%). The ability to hit the ball very good category as 6 participants (23.1%), good as much as 18 participants (69.2%), just as much as 2 participants (7.7%), less from 0 (0%). The ability to run to the base of the excellent category as many as seven participants (73.1%), good as much as 19 participants (26.9%), quite as much as 0 (0%), less from 0 (0%).
