READING JAVANESE SCRIPT LEARNING MEDIA WITH POP-UP BOOK FOR STUDENT CLASS VII SMPN 1 IMOGIRI

Abstract


This study has three objectives, namely: (1) the level of how to make pop-up book as the learning media to read Javanese alphabet sentences for read the VII grade student as SMP; (2) evaluating the quality of instructional media pop-up book as the learning media to read Javanese alphabet sentences with expert lecturers and lecturers of media expert; (3) assessment and opinion from Javanese language teacher and junior high school student of class VII for media pop-up book as theĀ  learning media to read Javanese alphabet sentences. This research used Research and Development (R&D) research type. The result of the study explained that: (1) the media was made through five levels: analysis, design. Development, implementation, and evaluation; (2) media quality evaluation with lecturers of material expert got 92,5% percentage which was very good, then media quality value with expert lecturer media got 80% percentage which was good; and (3) media assessment with Javanese teachers got average of 95% percentage of which was excellent and the result of students opinions got average of 92% percentage that was claasified as agreed. The result of this study explained that the leraning media pop-up bvook could be used as media in learning Javanese alphabet.
