PERBEDAAN EFEKTIVITAS METODE CIRCUIT TRAINING DENGAN TABATA TRAINING TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN KARDIOVASKULAR DAN DAYA TAHAN OTOT TUNGKAI UKM SEPAKBOLA UNY

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan pengalaman dari pertandingan yang dijalani UKM
Sepakbola UNY mengalami performa naik turun dalam setiap pertandingan dikarenakan kondisi fisik
yang tidak stabil, sesi latihan fisik tidak rutin dilakukan di setiap sesi latihan, serta belum diketahui
perbedaan efektivitas metode circuit training dengan tabata training terhadap daya tahan
kardiovaskular dan daya tahan otot tungkai.
 
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah
Quasi Eksperimental Design. Populasi penelitian anggota UKM Sepakbola UNY yang berjumlah 40
orang. Sampel berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling.
Intrumen penelitian yaitu multistage fitness test dan squat jump. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis
uji-t. Hasil penelitian disajikan secara kuantitatif.
 
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan metode circuit
training terhadap daya tahan kardiovaskular dan daya tahan otot tungkai. Mean different sebesar 1,29
% menunjukkan bahwa metode circuit training lebih baik dibandingkan metode tabata training dalam
peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskular sebesar 22,95 %. Sedangkan, mean different sebesar 6,10 %
menunjukkan bahwa metode circuit training lebih baik dibandingkan metode tabata training dalam
peningkatan daya tahan otot tungkai sebesar 32,59 %.

Abstract
 
This research is related to the experience of the competition that was undertaken by
football club of UNY to improve performance in each match due to unstable physical
conditions, physical training sessions not routinely conducted in each training session, and not
related to cardiovascular endurance and leg muscle endurance.
 
This study uses an experimental research method. The design used is Quasi
Experimental Design. The research population of football club of UNY members delivered 40
people. 20 people won. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research
instruments were multistage fitness test and squat jump. The data analysis technique is t-test
analysis. The results of the study are presented quantitatively.
 
The results of this study indicate the fact that circuit training methods are significant
for cardiovascular endurance and leg muscle endurance. Mean difference of 1.29 % shows the
training method is better than the tabata training method in increasing cardiovascular
endurance by 22.95 %. Meanwhile, the average difference of 6.10 % determines the training
circuit method is better than the tabata training method in increasing limb muscle endurance
by 32.59 %.
