HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN DAN SELF-CONTROL DENGAN TINGKAT KEDISIPLINAN DI SMK KARYA RINI YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi siswa terhadap kedisiplinan dan self-control baik secara sendiri maupun bersama-sama dengan tingkat kedisiplinan. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis survei. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMK Karya Rini Yogyakarta dengan ukuran sampel 157 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu proporsionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala persepsi siswa terhadap kedisiplinan, skala self-control, dan skala tingkat kedisiplinan. Pengujian validitas menggunakan expert judgement. Pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik korelasi parsial dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan persepsi siswa terhadap kedisiplinan dengan tingkat kedisiplinan r 0,504, (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan self-control dengan tingkat kedisiplinan dengan r 0,440, dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan persepsi siswa terhadap kedisiplinan dan self-control dengan tingkat kedisiplinan dengan R 0,596.

Abstract The objective of the research are to find out the correlation student perception toward discipline and self-control for independent and all together with disciplinary level. This research used quantitative approach which type is survey. The population is Vocational High School Karya Rini Yogyakarta student with 157 student as the sample. Proporsional stratified random sampling is used as sampling technique. The data are collected by student perception toward discipline scale, self-control scale, and disciplinary level scale with expert judgement for validity test and Alpha Croncbach for reliability test. The analysis technique to test the hypothesis are partial correlation and double correlation. The result of the research shows: (1) there is significant correlation of student perception toward discipline with disciplinary level with correlation coefficient 0,504, (2) there is significant correlation self-control with disciplinary level with correlation coefficient about 0,440, and (3) there is significant correlation of student perception toward discipline and self-control with disciplinary level with correlation coefficient 0,596.
