Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ; 1) strategi cyber public relations Humas Polres Purworejo dalam mengelola citra positif; 2) hambatan Humas Polres Purworejo dalam penerapan strategi cyber public relations dalam mengelola citra positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Humas Polres Purworejo. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data ditentukan dengan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data melalui tahap reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi (conclusion drawing and verification). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Strategi CPR Humas Polres Purworejo dalam  mengelola citra positif adalah dengan  pengelolaan secara intensif pada media online Humas Polres Purworejo, dengan melakukan publikasi secara intens dan membuat konten inovatif pada media online. Media online yang digunakan Humas Polres Purworejo meliputi media mainstream, pada website dan media sosial Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube.; 2) Hambatan pelaksanaan strategi CPR dalam mengelola citra positif, yaitu terkait hambatan teknis dalam  pengadaan sarana dan prasarana yang masih kurang memadai.

Abstract  

            This study aims to determine; 1) the cyber public relations strategy of the Purworejo Police Public Relations in managing a positive image; 2) the obstacles of Public Relations of the Purworejo Police in implementing cyber public relations strategies in managing a positive image. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The object of this research is the Public Relations of the Purworejo Police. Check the validity of the data is determined by triangulation of sources. Data analysis goes through the stages of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), as well as drawing conclusions and verification (conclusion drawing and verification). The results of this study indicate that the Purworejo Police Public Relations CPR strategy in managing a positive image is to intensively manage the Purworejo Police Public Relations online media, by intensely publishing and creating innovative content on online media. The online media used by the Purworejo Police Public Relations includes mainstream media, on websites and social media Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube.; 2) Barriers to the implementation of the CPR strategy in managing a positive image, namely related to technical obstacles in the procurement of facilities and infrastructure that are still inadequate.
