TINGKAT KESEIMBANGAN SISWA TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN, SEDANG DI SLB N 1 BANTUL

Abstract


Keseimbangan merupakan unsur kebugaran jasmani bagi siapapun terkhusus anak
berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengambarkan tingkat keseimbangan siswa
SMA tunagrahita ringan dan tunagrahita sedang di SLB N 1 Bantul.
Penelitian merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian adalah
seluruh subjek yang diteliti adalah anak SMA tunagrahita ringan dan sedang di SLB N 1 Bantul.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi, variabel dalamĀ  penelitian ini adalah keseimbangan
statis. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dan teknik pengukuran. Teknik pengambilan data
menggunkan tes balance one.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseimbangan anak tunagrahita ringan dikelompokkan 4
klasifikasi, klasifikasi sangat baik ada 40% dengan interval 3,81 keatas, baik ada 20% dengan
interval 3,21-3,80, kurang ada 20% dengan interval 2,01-2,60, dan kurang sekali ada 20%
dengan interval 1,40-2,00. Anak tunagrahita sedang dikelompokkan 4 klasifikasi, sangat baik ada
33,3% dengan interval 1,69 keatas, baik ada 16,6% dengan interval 1,39-1,38, kurang ada 33,3%
dengan interval 0,79-1,08, dan kurang sekali ada 16,6% dengan interval 0,48-0,78.

Abstract

Balance is an element of physical fitness for anyone, especially children with special
need. This research aimed to depict balance level of light and medium mentally disabled high
school students at SLB N 1 Bantul.
This research is a descriptive quantitative research. Population of this research is the
whole subject that being observed which are light and medium mentally disabled high school
students at SLB N 1 Bantul. This research is a population research, which the variable is static
balance. Method used in this research are survey and measuring technique method. Measuring
technique uses balance one test.
Result of this research shows balance of light mentally disabled children is grouped into 4
classifications. Very good classifications has 40% with interval of 3,81 above. Good
classification has 20% with interval of 3,21-3,80. Poor classification has 20% with interval of
2,01-2,60. Very poor classification has 20% with interval of 1,40-2,00. Meanwhile, medium
mentally disabled children is also grouped into 4 classifications. Very good classifications has
33,3% with interval of 1,69 above. Good classification has 16,6% with interval of 1,39-1,38.
Poor classification has 33,3% with interval of 0,79-1,08. Very poor classification has 16,6% with
interval of 0,48-0,78.
