SUMBANGAN PENDAPATAN BURUH TANI PEREMPUAN TERHADAP TOTAL PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA REMPOAH KECAMATAN BATURADEN KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Characteristics of women farm workers, 2) Outpouring
time farm worker women working in domestic and non-domestic sector, 3) Contribution
income women farm workers to total household income. This research is a quantitative
descriptive. The population was women farm worker households who worked on land
owned by others, amounting to 64. The study is in the village of Rempoah, Baturaden
Subdistrict, Banyumas District. Data collection methods used were observation,
interviews and documentation. Methods of data analysis using frequency tables are
described and summarized. The results of this study, that is: 1). Characteristics of
respondents: a) Age of the most respondents (28,12%) were aged 55-59 years. b) 64,06%
of respondents marital status married. c) 73.17% husbands job laborer. d) Elementary
Education covers 81,25% of the respondents e) The number of household members soul
reaches 56,25% 4-6 f) The area of land tenure from 0,01 to 0,2 ha farm workers reached
34,6% with the status of property rights g ) Economic activity: (1) agricultural activity,
(1-4 days planting, weeding is done 2 days after the rice was 14 days and 22-25 days,
respondents involved in pest control 10,93% by capturing the golden snail, harvest for 1-
3 days in a way digebyok and bawon wages for their own consumption. (2) nonagricultural economic activity as traders and housekeeper respectively by 41,67%. 2)
Outpouring of working time: a) the domestic sector do hodge women for < 7 hours per
week, b) non-domestic sector (agriculture between 28-34 per week as much as 53,12%, in
the non-agricultural sector for 35-49 hours per week by 50% and social activities for < 7
hours per week ). 3) Contribution income women farm workers to the total income of
households in the village of 85.93% Rempoah reach < 37,41% and with an average
24,02%
