KOMPETENSI MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA SE KECAMATAN BANGUNTAPAN KABUPATEN BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi manajerial kepala SMP se Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul, yang dilihat dari 5 aspek yakni aspek perencanaan, aspek kepemimpinan, aspek pengorganisasian, aspek penggerakan, dan aspek pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala SMP se Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup yang bersifat tidak langsung. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah 147 guru SMP se Kecamatan Banguntapan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Untuk validitas data menggunakan validitas butir. Selanjutnya reliabilitas data menggunakan teknik Croncbach’s Alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah se kecamatan Banguntapan dalam kategori tinggi yaitu dengan capaian persentase 76,58%. Dilihat per aspek; (1) aspek perencanaan memiliki kategori tinggi dengan jumlah capaian persentase mencapai 77,31%; (2) aspek kepemimpinan memiliki kategori tinggi dengan jumlah capaian persentase mencapai 78,70%; (3) aspek pengorganisasian memiliki kategori tinggi dengan jumlah capaian persentase mencapai 76,25%; (4) aspek penggerakan memiliki kategori tinggi dengan jumlah capaian persentase mencapai 76,15%; dan (5) aspek pengawasan memiliki kategori tinggi dengan jumlah capaian persentase mencapai 75,40%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka, aspek yang mempunyai kategori tinggi adalah aspek kepemimpinan dengan capaian jumlah persentase 78,70%. Kemudian aspek yang memiliki jumlah persentase paling lemah adalah aspek pengawasan dengan capaian jumlah persentase 75,40%.

MANAGERIAL COMPETENCE OF THE HEAD OF A JUNIOR HIGH SCHOLL OF BANGUNTAPAN DISTRICT BANTUL REGENCY
Abstract
This study aims to determine how the managerial competence of the head of a Junior High Scholl of Banguntapan District, Bantul regency, as seen from the 5 aspects of the planning aspects, aspects of leadership, organizational aspects, aspects of mobilization, and monitoring aspects. This study uses descriptive quantitative approach. Subjects were District Head Junior High Scholl of Banguntapan, Bantul regency. Collecting data using questionnaires that are not directly covered . Respondents in this study were 147 junior high school teacher of Banguntapan District. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques with percentage. For the validity of the data using the validity of grains. Further reliability data using techniques Croncbach 's Alpha. The results showed managerial competence as district principals Banguntapan in the high category is the percentage achievement of 76.58%. Seen from the aspects; (1) aspects of planning has high category by the number of attainment percentage reached 77,31%; (2) aspects of leadership has a high category by the number of percentage reached 78,70% achievement; (3) aspects of the organization has a high category by the number of percentage reached 76,25% achievement; (4) mobilization aspects has high category by the number of percentage reached 76,15% achievement and (5) aspects of monitoring has a high category with a number of achievements percentage 75,40%. Based on these results, the aspects that have a high category is the leadership aspect to achieving total percentage of 78.70%. Then the aspects that have a percentage number is the weakest aspect of performance monitoring with the percentage of 75.40% even.
