KEEFEKTIFAN WEBSITE SEKOLAH SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI HUMAS DI SMA NEGERI KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat keefektifan pemanfaatan
website sekolah sebagai media humas di SMA Negeri Kota Yogyakarta dan (2) kendala
yang terjadi dalam pemanfaatan website sekolah sebagai media informasi humas di SMA
Negeri kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model
Countenance dari Stake. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat keefektifan
website sekolah sebagai media informasi humas di SMA Negeri Kota Yogyakarta,
dikategorikan sebagai website yang sudah sesuai dengan kriteria website sekolah yang
baik (efektif) di SMA Negeri 5 dan SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta, sedangkan di SMA Negeri 8
Yogyakarta sudah sangat baik (sangat efektif). Penilaian ini telah dilakukan berdasarkan
maksud dan tujuan dari website sekolah itu sendiri serta keadaan yang sebenarnya
terjadi yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan kriteria website sekolah yang baik. (2)
Kendala yang terdapat dalam pemanfaatan website sekolah di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta
adalah komunikasi yang terjalin antara humas dengan admin website sekolah. Kemudian
dalam pengelolaan website sekolah di SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta tidak terdapat masalah
yang berarti. Sedangkan pengelolaan website sekolah di SMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta
terdapat masalah pada tunjangan yang dirasa tidak sesuai dengan beban kerja dari
admin website sekolah.

EFFECTIVENESS OF SCHOOL WEBS AS PUBLIC RELATION’S INFORMATION MEDIA
AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This research aims to know the: (1) the level of effectiveness of school webs as
PR’s information media at State Senior High School in Yogyakarta and (2) constraint in
school webs as PR’s information media at State Senior High School in Yogyakarta. This
research is evaluation research with Countenance Model by Stake. The result showed
that: ( 1 ) the level of effectiveness of websites schools at 5 Senior High School, 7 Senior
High School is good (effective), whereas at 8 Senior High School is very good (very
effective). This assessment was done based on the intent and purpose of the school
website itself as well as the actual circumstances occur which are then compared to the
criteria of a good school website. (2) constraint in school webs at 5 Senior High School is
communication between of admin website interwoven with school, at 7 Senior High
School there is no problem that means, and at 8 Senior High School there are problems
on an allowance it thinks is not in accordance with the burden of working of admin
school webs.
