PENGARUH KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU DAN MOTIVASI KERJA GURU TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI DI KABUPATEN BANTUL

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, (2) Pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan (3) Pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode expost facto. Populasi penelitian adalah semua guru pengampu UN SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul yang berjumlah 188 guru. Sampel yang diambil sejumlah 120 guru yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling sesuai tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji multikolinearitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul sebesar 24,1%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja guru terhadap belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul sebesar 25%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bantul sebesar 29,6%.

Abstrack

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning achievement, (2) the effect of teacher work motivation on student learning achievement, and (3) the effect of teacher pedagogical competence and teacher motivation on student achievement. This study uses quantitative approach with expost facto methods. The population of the study were all of UN subject State Junior High School teacher in Bantul Regency, consist of 188 junior high school teachers in Bantul Regency. Sample of this study were 120 teachers determined by simple random sampling techniques according to the Isaac and Michael tables with a margin error of about 5%. Data collecting instrument of this study used questionnaire and documentation. Analysis prerequisite tests used normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. Data analysis used simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that (1) There was a positive and significant influence of  pedagogical competence of teachers on the learning achievement on students class IX of  State Junior High School in Bantul Regency by 24.1%. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of teacher work motivation on the learning of students of class IX of State Junior High School in Bantul Regency by 25%. (3) There is a positive and significant influence between the teacher's pedagogical competence and the teacher's motivation to work together towards the learning of the IX grade students of the State Junior High School in Bantul Regency by 29,6%.
