PENYELENGGARAAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI (PRAKERIN) DI SMK SMTI YOGYAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2017/2018

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) persiapan prakerin; (2) pelaksanaan prakerin; dan (3) evaluasi prakerin di SMK SMTI Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan prakerin di SMK SMTI Yogyakarta meliputi sosialisasi prakerin, pendaftaran prakerin, bimbingan pra prakerin, pembekalan dan pelepasan prakerin. (2) pelaksanaan prakerin di SMK SMTI Yogyakarta meliputi penempatan siswa prakerin, kegiatan prakerin, monitoring prakerin, dan bimbingan prakerin. (3) evaluasi prakerin di SMK SMTI Yogyakarta dilaksanakan oleh pihak tempat prakerin berupa penilaian dari tempat prakerin dan evaluasi oleh pihak sekolah berupa penilaian siswa dari pihak sekolah serta evaluasi penyelenggaraan prakerin oleh sekolah.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the preparation of industrial job practicum program, implementation of the industrial job practicum program, and evaluation of the industrial job practicum program in SMK SMTI Yogyakarta. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Methods data collection by interview and documentation. Test data validity with source triangulation and engineering triangulation. The data analysis technique is using interactive models from Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed as follows: (1) the preparation of industrial job practicum program in SMK SMTI Yogyakarta includes sociallization the industrial job practicum program, registration the industrial job practicum program, pre-guidance the industrial job practicum program, debriefing and release the industrial job practicum program. (2) implementation of the industrial job practicum program in SMK SMTI Yogyakarta includes is placement of students the industrial job practicum program, activities the industrial job practicum program, monitoring the industrial job practicum program, and guidance the industrial job practicum program. (3) evaluation of the industrial job practicum program in SMK SMTI Yogyakarta carried out by the place of the industrial job practicum program in the form of an assessment of the place of the industrial job practicum program and evaluation by the school in the form of assessment of students from the school as well as evaluating the implementation of the industrial job practicum program by the school. Keywords: the management of the industrial job practicum program, preparation, implementation, evaluation
