MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL MELALUI METODE SOSIODRAMA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 4 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial melalui metode sosiodrama pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII B yang di ambil dari data IKMS. Desain yang digunakan adalah model spiral peneliatan Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan istrumen penelitan berupa skala keterampilan sosial. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode sosiodrama dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan nilai tiap siklusnya. Peningakatan yang terjadi dari tes sebelum tindakan dan tes setelah tindakan siklus I yaitu peningkatan nilai  rerata dari pre-test sebesar 5,2 poin dari hasil 96,6 menjadi 101,8 dan termasuk pada kategori sedang.  Dari post-test I mengalami peningkatan rerata yaitu sebesar 15,8 poin dari 101,8 menjadi 117,6  dan termasuk pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students’ social skill through sociodrama method for at grade 8th with students of SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. This research was classroom action research that was done collaboratively with guidance and counseling teacher. The subject of research of this research was students at grade 8th of class B. It was selected from IKMS data. The design used in this of was Spiral model research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The method of collecting data used was quisioner. The data was analyzed by using quantitative descriptive tecnique. The result ed show that sociodrama method could improve students’ social skill of students at grade 8th of SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. It could be seen that there was is an improvement score of social skill in every cycle, from average score of 99,6 at pre-test  increased  to 101,8, at post test I , which was categorized moderate level. Then from the post-test I the was 101,8 increased 117,6 on post-test II which was categorized high level. The result of this research showed that sociodrama method could improve grade 8th students’ social skill of SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. It can be seen that there is an improvement score in every cycle. The improvement of pre-test and post-test in cycle I was 5,2 point from 96,6 become 101, 8 and it belongs to moderate category. While from post-test I there is an improvement points 15,8 it could be seen from the score 101,8 that was increase to 117,6 and it belongs to the high-level category.
