KECERDASAN ADVERSITAS SECARA UMUM PADA MAHASISWA BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING FAKULTAS ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecerdasan adversitas secara umum pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu 427 mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling, dansampel sebanyak 195 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan propotionate startified random sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui skala sikap kecerdasan adversitas dengan model skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskripstif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecerdasan adversitas mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling di kategori tinggi sebanyak 129 orang (66%) dan 66 orang (34%) tergolong sedang. Hasil data penelitian juga melihat kecerdasan adversitas berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, semester, IPK, dan pengalaman organisasi. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki kecerdasan adversitas yang cenderung tinggi. Berdasarkan usia, usia 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, dan 26 tahun memiliki kecerdasan adversitas yang cenderung tinggi. Berdasarkan semester, pada semester 2, 4, 6,8, 10, 12, dan 14memiliki kecerdasan adversitas yang cenderung tinggi. Berdasarkan IPK, mahasiswa dengan IPK antara 3,56-4,00dan antara 2,76-3,50memiliki kecerdasan adversitas yang cenderung tinggi. Selanjutnya berdasarkan pengalaman organisasi, mahasiswa dengan yang memiliki pengalaman organisasi maupun tidakmemiliki kecerdasan adversitas yang cenderung tinggi. Dengan demikian mayoritas mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta memiliki kemampuan dalam menghadapi serta mengatasi kesulitan pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to knows adversity quotient in students guidance and counseling faculty of education yogyakarta state university. This research used the quantitative approach, with the kind of research survey. Population in this reasearch are 427 students of guidance and counseling and the number of sample are 195 students, the technique of sample collection used prpotionate startified random sampling. Data collected through the scale of adversity quotient with likert scale methode. Technique of data analysis used statistic descriptive.the research showed that levelof adversity quotient in students guidance and counseling in high category are 129 students (66%), and 66 students are in madium category. The results  also saw on the basis of gender, age, semester, Grade Point Average (GPA),and organizational experinces. Based on gender, boys and girls included in high category. Based on age, the students in 18th, 19th, 20th, 21th, 22th, 23th,24th,25th, and 26th inckuded in high category. Based on semester, the students in 2th, 4th, 6th, 8th,10th, 12th, and 14th included in high category. Based on GPA, the students with GPA among 3,51-4,00 and 2,76-3,50 included in high category. Last, based on organizational experiences, the students with experience or not are included in high category.  Based on these results, the majority of students Guidance and Counseling Faculty of Education Yogyakarta State University that are samples in research have an abillity to faced and dealed with challenges in high category.
