PERILAKU BELANJA ONLINE DAN KONTROL DIRI MAHASISWA BELITUNG DI YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2016

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kemudahan dalam belanja online sehingga mahasiswa sulit mengatur keinginan untuk terus belanja online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku belanja online mahasiswa Belitung di Yogyakarta dan mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku belanja online dan kontrol diri mahasiswa.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Belitung yang kuliah di Yogyakarta tahun 2016 sebanyak 211 mahasiswa. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Perhitungan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan hasil 138 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach yakni sebesar 0,786 untuk kontrol diri. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku belanja online mahasiswa Belitung yang kuliah di Yogyakarta tahun 2016 dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,462 dengan signifikansi p = 0,00 (<0,05), maka Ha diterima. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 21,3%, menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kedua variabel cukup kuat.

Abstract
This research was based on the amount of easiness which was given from shopping transaction online, so it caused the students difficult to manage their appeared desires from themselves to shop online continually. This research was aimed to describe the online shopping behavior of Belitung students in Yogyakarta and to find out the relationship between the online shopping behavior and the students' self-control.
The approach that was used in this research was a quantitative research. The population in this research was Belitung students who have been studying in Yogyakarta in 2016 with having 211 students. Determination of the sample used simple random sampling technique. The calculation of the number of sample in the research used the Slovin formula’s with having 138 students. The method of data collection in the research used questionnaires. The results of reliability test used Alpha Cronbach which was equal to 0.786 for self-control. Hypothesis testing used analytical techniques, Product Moment correlation test of Pearson.
The results of the research showed that there was a negative relationship between self-control with online shopping behavior of Belitung students studying in Yogyakarta in 2016 with having correlation value which was about -0.462 with the significance of p = 0.00 (<0.05), so Ha was accepted. Coefficient determination which was in the amount of 21.3% showed the relationship between self-control with online shopping behavior was strong enough.
