Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi frekuensi membolos siswa kelas X SMK Muhammadiyah 1

Moyudan melalui teknik diskusi kelompok kecil. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas X D TKR yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan adalah dokumen presensi siswa, pedoman observasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diskusi kelompok kecil dapat mengurangi frekuensi membolos siswa kelas X D TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari data presensi siswa pasca tindakan siklus II, seluruh siswa frekuensi membolosnya telah berkurang menjadi 0. Hasil tersebut juga diperkuat dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap subyek yang menunjukkan adanya pengurangan frekuensi membolos yang dapat dilihat dari rekap presensi siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed at reduce the frequency of the tenth grade students truancy through small group discussion in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. This study is action research. The subjects of the research were the tenth grade in class Tenth D TKR amounting to 27 students. Methods of data collection in this study using study documentation,observation, and interview, while the instrument used are student’s attendant list, observation guidelines, and interview guidelines. Data analysis technique using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.The findings of this research showed that the implementations of small group discussion activities are effective to reduce the number of truant  case.  This improvement  is  indicated  by the decrased  number  of truant  frequency  of the student’s. The truant  frequency  of the post-action are decreased where the truant frequency 0f all 27 student has decreased to 0. That result is also ensured with interviews and observations results conducted towards the subject showing the decreasing numbers of the truancy frequeny based on the students’ attendant list.
