PENGARUH EFIKASI DIRI TERHADAP ASPIRASI KARIR PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 DEPOK SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap aspirasi karir siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 186 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Untuk pengumpulan data digunakan skala aspirasi karir dan skala efikasi diri. Validitas instrumen diuji menggunakan validasi isi melalui uji ahli (expert judgement). Uji reliabilitas menggunakan data terpakai, untuk menghitung reliabilitas digunakan teknik alpha cronbach. Koefisien alpha cronbach skala efikasi diri yakni 0.757 dan koefisien alpha cronbach untuk skala aspirasi karir yakni 0.904. Untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan analisis regresi liniear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh kesimpulan 1) efikasi diri siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Yogyakarta berada pada kategori tinggi, 2) aspirasi karir siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Yogyakarta berada pada kategori tinggi, 3) terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap aspirasi karir secara positif dan signifikan, yang berarti efikasi diri dapat memprediksikan aspirasi karir. Hasil temuan tambahan yakni nilai Rsquareyang diperoleh0.533, yang berarti efikasi diri memberikan kontribusi terhadap aspirasi karir sebesar 53.3%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determined the influence of self efficacy on the career aspiration of the students at Grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. This research used quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 186 students at Grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is a population research. To collect the data, the researcher used career aspiration scale and self efficacy scale. The validity of instrument it tested content validity through (expert judgement). The reliability test applied the used data. To count the reliability, it used Alpha Cronbach technique. Alpha Cronbach coefficient of self efficacy scale totaling 0.757 and Alpha Cronbach coefficient of career aspiration scale totaling 0.904. In order to test the hypothesis, the researcher used simple regressions linear analysis. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that 1) the self efficacy of the students at Grade X SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta is in the level of high, 2) the career aspiration of the the students at Grade X SMA Negeri 1 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta is in the category of high, 3) there is an influence of self efficacy to the career aspiration positively and significantly; it means that self efficacy can predict career aspiration. The additional finding is that the value of R square that is achieved totaling 0.533; it means that self efficacy gives contributions to the career aspiration totaling 53.3%.
