PENGARUH KONFORMITAS TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN STUDI LANJUT SISWA KELAS IX SMP N 1 MLATI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya terhadap pengambilan keputusan studi lanjut siswa kelas IX SMP N 1 Mlati. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Responden penelitian sejumlah 103 siswa pada siswa kelas IX SMP N 1 Mlati. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana, dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara variabel konformitas teman sebaya terhadap pengambilan keputusan studi lanjut. Dilihat dari nilai konstanta sebesar 119,046 dan nilai koefisien regresi predikator sebesar -0,809 dengan persamaan regresi liniernya yaitu Y = 119,046 – 0,809X. Nilai R square sebesar 0,242 diketahui bahwa konformitas teman sebaya mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan studi lanjut sebesar 24,2%. Sedangkan sebesar 75,8% variabel pengambilan keputusan studi lanjut dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Diperkirakan setiap peningkatan 1% pada variabel konformitas teman sebaya, maka pengambilan keputusan studi lanjut akan menurun sebesar 0,809.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity toward student further education decision - making in grade IX of SMPN Mlati. This study uses a quantitative. Research respondents were 103 students in grade IX SMPN 1 Mlati. The data collection technique is questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis, with the help of SPSS software. The result of this study showed that there was a negative and significant influence between peer conformity variables on further education decision making. Judging from the constant value of 119.046 and the predicator regression coefficient value of -0.809 with the linear regression equation, namely Y = 119.046 - 0.809X. The R square value of 0.242 shows that peer conformity affects the student further education decision making sby 24.2%. Meanwhile, 75.8% of the variables of further study decision making are influenced by other factors outside the research. It is estimated that every 1% increase in the peer conformity variable, then the decision making for further studies will decrease by 0.809.
