KORELASI ANTARA TINGKAT RELIGIUSITAS DENGAN KEMATANGAN EMOSI PADA SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 MUNTILAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui korelasi antara tingkat religiusitas dengan kematangan emosi pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Muntilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 Muntilan kelas VII dan VIII sebanyak 187 siswa. Uji Validasi skala dengan expert judgement dan uji product moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan uji Alpha Cronbach, diperoleh hasil 0.753 pada skala tingkat religiusitas, dan 0.776 pada skala kematangan emosi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Tingkat religiusitas siswa sebesar 75,9% masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, kemudian pada kematangan emosi masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dengan prosentase sebesar 54,6%. Sumbangan efektif dari variabel tingkat religiusitas sebesar 55%. (2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara tingkat religiustas dengan kematangan emosi pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Muntilan yang ditunjukan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,742 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the religiosity level with emotional maturity of students in Muntilan 1 Public Junior High School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation type. The sample on thid study are 187 students in Muntilan 1 Public Junior High School majoring VII and VIII grades.  Scale validation test with expert judgment and product moment test. The reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha test, obtained results of 0.753 on the religiusitas level scale, and 0.776 on the emotoinal maturity scale. The results of the study showed: (1) The religiosity level of students amounted to 75.9 % that fitted into the category of “very high”, and also on the emotional maturity fitted into the category of “ very high” with a percentage of 54,6%. The effective contribution come from variable of religiosity level, which provide 55%. (2) There is a positive relation between the religiosity level with the emotional maturity of Muntilan 1 Public Junior High School students as indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.742 with a significance of 0.000 (< 0,05 ).
