EFEKTIVITAS TEKNIK PHOTOVOICE TERHADAP KARAKTER SIKAP HORMAT SISWA KELAS XII

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas teknik photovoice terhadap karakter sikap hormat siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Playen. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain eksperimen dengan model nonequivalent control grup. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Playen dengan sampel sebanyak 16 siswa yang dikelompokkan menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur berupa skala sikap hormat yang berjumlah 46 item pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired t test. Reliabilitas skala karakter sikap hormat dengan nilai alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0,092. Hasil pengukuran awal dan pengukuran akhir penelitian pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan uji paired t test menunjukkan hasil signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha dari kedua kelompok diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Namun, terdapat perbedaan dalam selisih hasil pre-test dan post-test dalam kelompok eksperimen dengan teknik photovoice sebesar 345 dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 137. Teknik photovoice dinyatakan memiliki pengaruh lebih tinggi dibanding teknik ceramah dalam treatment mengenai karakter sikap hormat siswa. Dengan demikian, teknik photovoice efektif diterapkan dalam pendidikan karakter, khususnya karakter sikap hormat siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Playen.

Abstract

This study was designed to test the effectivity of the photovoice technique toward the respect behaviour character of the grade XII students of Playens State Senior High School 1. The method used for this study is experiment research, with non-equivalent control grup model for the design of the experiment. As much as 16 students of Playens State Senior High School 1 grade XII became the subject of this study, that was divided into experiment group and control group. Therefor, 46 item of pronouncement was used for the instruments to measure the scale of respect behaviour character. Data analysis techniques using Paired Sample T Test. Rreliability scale of the respect behaviour character worth alpha cronbach’s up to 0,092. The result of the first and the last measure of the study on experiment group and control group using Paired T Test shows significant result with amounts 0,000 < 0,05, so the Ha is accepted and the H₀ is denied. But there is differences result on the pre-test and post-test between the experiment group and the control group, with 345 points for the experiment group by photovoice technique, and 137 points for the control group. The results show that photovoice technique has higher effect than any treatments on the students respect behaviour character. Therefor, photovoice technique is effective to be applied on the character education, especially for the respect behaviour character of Playens State Senior High School grade XII students.
