EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK TEKNIK EXPRESSIVE WRITING TERHADAP SELF AWARENESS DALAM KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI BANTUL
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas teknik expressive writing terhadap self awareness dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana. Teknik expressive writing digunakan karena teknik ini mampu menjadi sarana dalam mengenal diri sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Design dan desain penelitian yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA N 3 Bantul sejumlah 30 orang yang masing-masing dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu tahap pretestt, treatment, dan posttest. Treatment yang digunakan adalah dengan bimbingan kelompok. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala self awareness. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistka non parametrik uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik expressive writing efektif terhadap self awareness dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana (Asymp sig. 2-tailed 0,003<0,05) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Oleh karena itu, teknik expressive writing efektif terhadap self awareness dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana bagi siswa SMA N 3 Bantul.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of expressive writing techniques towards self-awareness in disaster preparedness.Expressivewritingtechniquesareusedbecausetheycanbeameansofself-knowledge. The method of this research was an experimental method with Quasi Experiment Design research type and Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of SMA N 3 Bantul, each of which was divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely pretest, treatment, and posttest. The treatment was done by using group guidance. The data collection techniques were done by using a self-awareness scale. The data analysis was done by using a nonparametric statistical analysis of the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that expressive writing techniques were effective to self-awareness in disaster preparedness (Asymp sig. 2-tailed 0.003 <0.05) with a significance level of 5%. Therefore, the expressive writing technique is effective to self-awareness in disaster preparedness for students of SMA N 3 Bantul.
