PENGARUH ASERTIVITAS DAN MANAJEMEN KONFLIK TERHADAP RESILIENSI REMAJA PANTI ASUHAN

Abstrak

Penelitian mengenai asertivitas dan manajemen konflik sudah banyak dilakukan, akan tetapi pengaruh kedua variabel terhadap resiliensi masih menarik untuk diteliti. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh asertivitas dan manajemen konflik bersama sama terhadap resiliensi, (2) pengaruh asertivitas terhadap resiliensi dan (3) pengaruh manajemen konflik terhadap resiliensi remaja panti asuhan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Penelitian ini merupakan peneilitian populasi dengan subyek sejumlah 172 remaja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala resiliensi, skala asertivitas, dan skala manajemen konflik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif asertivitas dan manajemen konflik terhadap resiliensi dengan p = 0.000 < 0.05 dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 51.5%, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif asertivitas terhadap resiliensi dengan p = 0.000 < 0.05 dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 23.28%, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif manajemen konflik terhadap resiliensi dengan p = 0.000 < 0.05 dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 28.23%.

Abstract

Research on assertiveness and conflict management has been done a lot, but the influence both of these variablel on certain variables is still interesting to study. Therefore, this study aims to determine: (1) the effect of assertiveness and conflict management toward resilience of adolescents living in an orphanage, (2) the effect of assertiveness toward resilience, (2) the effect of conflict management toward resilience. The research is a quantitative research with ex-post facto method. This research respondents were 188 adolescents living in an orphanage Nurul Haq Madania. The instruments used for data collection were resilience scale, assertiveness scale, and conflict management scale. The result of this study showed that: (1) there was a positive effect of assertiveness and conflict management toward resilience with p = 0.000 < 0.05 and effective contribution as much as 51.5%, (2) there was a positive effect of assertiveness toward resilience with p = 0.000 < 0.05 and effective contribution as much as 23.28%, and (3) there was a positive effect of conflict management toward resilience with p = 0.000 < 0.05 and effective contribution as much as 28.23%.
